"Communication Progressive du Français" presents 40 situations from everyday life covering both formal and informal speech. Chapters are grouped under five headings: shopping; giving and asking for information; social dialogues; formal dialogues; discussions and debates. The book has a clear structure with each topic presented on a double page spread. The first page introduces each subject with dialogues followed by a revision list which recaps the main expressions and draws attention to important lexical, cultural and practical points. The second page focuses on student participation and includes comprehension and fill in the gap exercises plus offers the students the opportunity to recreate dialogues themselves by carrying out roleplays and other similar creative tasks.
