Stefan Zweig

Born in 1881, Stefan Zweig was an Austrian novelist, playwright, journalist and biographer. His literary career spanned 40 years, during which he provided the world with extraordinary works of fiction such as Amok, The Confusion of Feelings, Twenty-Four Hours in the Life of a Woman and the posthumously published The Royal Game (Chess Story). He also wrote numerous biographies. Stefan Zweig died in 1942.
