Dvided into 14 units, each presenting a different facet of the French psyche, areas covered include attitudes to the state and thoughts on the French language, as well as various examinations of national characteristics. These revealing insights are culled from many sources, making extensive use of hundreds of surveys, linked by commentary from the author, and concluded by a number of follow-up activities to build on the language and encourage further contemplation of French attitudes and behaviour.
